HEADSHOTS & PERSONAL BRANDING

What’s the difference?

Headshots are head and shoulders photographs, usually used to identify a person on a website or any other platform requiring a photograph of a single person looking at the camera.  These images are usually taken in a short space of time; about 3 – 5 minutes per photograph.  Ordinarily only 1 or 2 photographs per person are required.

A personal branding image is more editorial by nature and tell a story about the person:  who they are and what they do.   A branding session is relaxed and not rushed.  The session can take between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.  The client will choose 20 edited, retouched photographs from the session.

What to expect

Headshots can be taken on-site or in-studio.  We have various options to suit different corporate requirements;  this could include a single photograph or multiple photographs.  We make use of a professional make-up artist should this be required and will quote separately for this service.

Why Personal Branding?

We  create the perfect set of images to showcase who you are, what you do and how you would like your image portrayed.

Personal Branding differs from Headshots, although a session usually includes some headshots.  Branding images usually include props and at least two wardrobe changes.  The images are more descriptive in nature.  These images are ordinarily used on Linkedin profiles,  webpages and any other platform that showcases your business.

What to expect

A client should allow between 1.5 to 2.5 hours for a full Personal Branding shoot (Depending on whether make-up services are booked).   Clients will have the opportunity to choose  20 images from the shoot for editing and retouching.  We use an online gallery and the client is able to download both high resolution and web-size images of the final edited photographs.

Professional Make-up?

Personal Branding shoots have the option to include professional make-up.   We recommend  this option as it allows for a sophisticated and refined look.
