Emil Bosch Photography is a husband-and-wife photography team based in Blouberg, Cape Town. We work with businesses, professionals and organisations to create thoughtful photographs that feel polished, authentic and purposeful.
From the initial conversation to the final delivery, our aim is to make the process clear, organised and enjoyable — so that you can feel confident that everything is being taken care of.

We bring different but complementary strengths to every assignment. Emil’s experience, understanding of light and calm direction are particularly valuable when photographing people. Lorraine is naturally drawn to candid moments, details and movement, helping us capture the wider story as it unfolds.
Together, we are able to combine carefully directed photographs with natural, observational imagery — creating a complete and consistent collection for our clients.
MEET EMIL
Experience, light and calm direction.
Emil’s photography journey began in 1983, when he photographed his best friend’s wedding. What began as a passion developed into decades of practical experience across portrait, corporate and event photography.
He has a particular ability to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera. His patient direction, careful lighting and attention to expression are central to the way we approach corporate headshots, portraits and people-focused assignments.
Away from photography, Emil is usually enjoying a good cortado, working on a DIY project or planning his next creative portrait.
MEET LORRAINE
Observation, detail and the moments between.
Lorraine brings an observational approach to the team. She is drawn to genuine interaction, thoughtful details and the small moments that help tell the complete story of a business or event.
Working across photography and short-form video, she helps create varied visual content while also overseeing much of the planning, communication and organisation behind each assignment.
Away from client work, she is often exploring Cape Town with a camera, photographing birds, mushrooms, squirrels and the quieter details that other people may walk past.
